I am a bit disappointed it&#8217;s not going to be this month as I do want to get it over and done with asap but the start of next month could be a <em>lot<\/em> worse!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I am currently planning on taking the week before hand off, so that I reduce the chances of me getting sick with a cold, the flu, or covid and spend the whole week at home basically&#8230; The last thing I want at the moment is to have my surgery postponed because I&#8217;ve caught something else!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I should be having my surgery on Monday the 5th of September, which means I&#8217;ll be going into hospital on Saturday the 3rd and coming back home sometime at the end of the week\/the following weekend if all goes well!
